Fall Into The Gap

The digital age encourages modern thinking, what with Twitter and Facebook acting as a marketeer’s trusted toolkit nowadays, but how modern thinking are we really when a new logo sparks a worldwide outcry?

[The] Gap (insert or delete depending on your country of origin), the leviathan retailer famed for its American Classic affordable style, was left with its hands in its pockets (denim, no doubt), after revealing its new logo last week.

The drastic update was one step too far for the great public, it seems, as vociferous Internet surfers took to the social media platform to voice their all-out negative opinions. #Gap #logo #fail Twitter trending topics were abound, and surely not the reaction Gap was hoping for.
